Monize graduated in Civil Engineering from one of the oldest universities in Brazil (UFPR), and also attended the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie in Germany. From an early age she has always been a hands-on person with a knack for fitting things together and helping to solve practical problems. With time she started to become more interested in how buildings were constructed, and this curiosity led her to choosing subjects that included elements of construction and engineering. On projects all around the world she gained great satisfaction from utilizing mathematics, natural sciences, and common sense to design and build things efficiently with ingenuity.
She has a multi-faceted background encompassing international experience working with the a leading geotechnical specialist contractor (Keller Group), design firms (Solotecnica Inc.) and research groups (Institute of Technology for Development (LACTEC)). Monize also understands the local market as she managed multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently by overseeing the daily operations of a general contracting firm in Atlanta.
Monize provides overall leadership and direction to ensure that our clients’ vision, mission, goals, and objectives are met. Her focus is on ensuring the safe delivery of quality construction projects on time and within budget. With more than ten years of experience in different construction sites, she has the necessary experience to organize and manage MSM’s partners and subcontractors to provide effective, realistic, and efficient planning and construction.
MSM Builders was created to provide a more reliable and realistic construction company, keeping our clients’ interests as top priority. “We wanted to align ourselves with clients, designers and subcontractors that have similar philosophies and make sure that we are delivering the best construction solution possible for each project.”.
Outside of work, Monize is an assistant coach and practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Monize Siqueira – CEO
Michael Morrison – CFO
Michael supports our clients throughout the sale, design, and production phases. He is part of the team leadership helping to oversee projects from design to final delivery. His administration includes end user perspective to value engineer each project.
Michael’s contribution to MSM Builders is providing effective management, and financial leadership. He has more than thirty five years experience developing successful companies in the Atlanta market. Michael has renovated over fifty of his own locations including retail stores, package stores, bars/restaurants, gyms, healthcare facilities, and day spas. He started MSM Builders to become his own customer. “I needed effective construction resources that were reliable; well priced; and performed to the contract. Too many times I witnessed builders underbidding my jobs who were under capitalized. Eventually we wound up in litigation with them for non completion because they used our funds for other projects”. MSM Builders is a bonded company but Michael further insures the projects with his own personal guarantee. While finance is one area of his contribution, he also reviews every project through the eyes of its owner. “Monize and I have a mutual respect that results in a strong dialogue on the construction that we perform. I have a lot of admiration for design but the only question that must be answered is have we value engineered this project enough to ensure the lowest building expense for our client? Can we get there cheaper without sacrificing quality? A cost is only justified if it makes more money for our clients”.
Michael arrived from Los Angeles graduating with a B.B.A. from Oglethorpe University in 1995. His work is his hobby but he is also found in a boxing ring. As the founder of Biggs Morrison Boxing Gym, he helps disenfranchised kids participate in a sport that hasn’t disqualified them because of poor academic performance. Kids find self worth and opportunity through hard work. He has worked with three world champions.
